The menu is a celebration of hearty, satisfying bar fare. Their famed Fried Fish Sandwich is a must-try, famously served "fish on a dish" paired lovingly with pickles and a heel of Mancini’s bread—a comforting combination that balances crisp, flaky fish with tangy accents and hearty bread. Beyond the fish, there's a tempting array of sides like breaded cauliflower, cheese curds, golden French fries, and crispy onion rings, each perfectly seasoned and cooked to order. For wing enthusiasts, the “Wing Dings” are generous, though some guests appreciate a touch more seasoning to complement their crispy exterior.
To wash it all down, Becker’s Cafe offers a solid selection of beverages. Their cocktails—especially the classic Whiskey Sour—are generous and thoughtfully prepared, while simple staples like iced tea, coffee, fountain sodas, and cans of pop ensure there’s something for every palate. It's worth noting that this is a cash-only establishment, which adds a charming old-school touch that many find refreshingly straightforward.
Becker’s Cafe stands out not just for its food and drinks, but for its authentic, laid-back ambiance that perfectly embodies the spirit of McKees Rocks. Reviewers appreciate the spotless, organized space and the welcoming vibe that makes it ideal for gatherings—whether celebrating a game or enjoying casual meals with friends and family. Though located in the lower "bottoms" area, patrons describe it as a safe, tight-knit environment where you can relax, mind your own business, and savor some hearty, no-nonsense fare.

It’s a place where tradition meets friendly faces and timeless flavors, promising a visit well worth your time.
This place is a nice local bar in the McKees Rocks bottoms. It's clean and organized. Unfortunately they were out of fish, which is their signature sandwich. I had the wing dings and they needed more seasoning (perhaps seasoned salt?). The bartender was friendly and the owner very personable. Definitely will stop by again
We visited during a Steelers game and were welcomed with friendliness and the feel of family. The drinks are generous. The food is readily available. Great place to host a party or family gathering. Cash only. Well, at least you know you're not leaving with an open tab. Great energy!
Nice neighborhood place to grab a burger. Will come back to try fish.
They've always had the best fish sandwiches around. I don't hang out in bars so I can't speak much to that. Always decent when I went in. It is the bottoms and their tight-knit ppl so mind your own business have a drink get some food and your ok. Also you can get your food to go.
Don't let the exterior fool you, they have some dang good food. We had a couple of fish sandwiches and a half dozen wings on wing night. We weren't expecting them to be massive whole wings but they were, making the $1/wing price a great value. The fish sandwiches were also massive and delicious. Drinks were cheap and strong. There was a friendly, mature crowd there, a bit loud with yelling, but the yelling was that of a good time, not anger. We clearly were newcomers but the crowd was friendly, especially a guy who said his mom was the cook and made us feel welcome. I'll come back here for sure.
First time coming in the food was fantastic and the staff was so personable and great to meet. Will definitely be back.
